More Purses and Cards

The video to make this purse by Linda Parker is HERE.

It looks like a real purse!
(The directions are in my docs under Large Handbag.)

This is the card inside the purse. It folds flat and pops up
inside when it's opened:

To make this card:

OUTSIDE
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4" along the 8 1/2" side
INSIDE
5 1/2" x 4 3/4" scored along 4 3/4" at 1/2" and 4 1/2"
Glue inside piece on the left and right sides of the card.

The cards below are from a walk down Memory Lane:

Love these ewes so I had to make more versions:

Garden Collage Cards

I learned how to make a triple step card this week. This one is for Jennie's birthday. The directions were off on a couple of the measurements, so I modified them and put the directions in My Drive. Frenchie Stamps original how-to instructions can be found HERE.

...and this was another quicker version using the bird
stamp from the SU Garden Collage retired set:

This one is for Anne's Mother's Day card. I'm including a set
of Words of Wisdom from Moms quotes:

  • Your future does not lay in front of you, it lies deep inside of you.

  • Life is not about finding yourself. It’s about creating yourself.

  • When life becomes a roller coaster, climb into the front seat, throw your arms in the air and enjoy the ride.

  • Life is all about how you handle Plan B.

  • Practice the art of listening.

  • Rise by lifting others.

  • Play with wild abandon.

  • Everything that comes up in your mind doesn’t need to come out of your mouth.

  • Worrying is like a rocking horse - it keeps you going, but you go nowhere.

  • Be quick to praise and slow to criticize.

  • Find the joy in all choices you make.

  • The nicest thing you can give someone is a smile.

  • To have a friend you have to be a friend.

  • Never take a good friend for granted.

Favorite Baby Girl Card

I try to keep a card like this on hand to send out for birthdays or congrats on the birth of your new baby girl. It's fun to see the results from using different combinations of DSP.

Sentiment: Vintage Labels (SU Retired)

This is a 5" square card and the center square measures 3 1/4". The blouse is SU's label punch and the dress is made from their scalloped oval punch. I also ran the ovals through an embossing folder to give a little bit of texture to the dress.

Sentiment: Hodgepodge Happiness (SU Retired)

Li'l Gnome

I gave this Simon Says Li'l Gnome die set to myself for Christmas and am having so much fun designing cards with it! This one is for my pen pal's birthday this month.

...and another version - I can't stop making these gnome cards!

(Sentiment was done on Google Docs.)

I also saw these things when picking up a dozen bundtinis at Nothing Bundt Cakes today:
